Faith Over Fear

Key Verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Fear is loud—it whispers worst-case scenarios and magnifies what could go wrong. But faith is louder. Faith speaks with authority, reminding us that God is bigger than any fear.

Three Ways to Trade Fear for Faith:

  • Pause and Pray: When fear rises, breathe and whisper, “Lord, help me trust You.”

  • Replace the Lie: Identify the fear’s message and counter it with God’s Word.

  • Act in Faith: Take one small step forward anyway—courage grows with movement.

Fear may visit, but it doesn’t have to live in you. God’s Spirit equips you with courage, not panic; with love, not anxiety.

Prayer: Lord, I reject fear’s lies. Fill me with Your Spirit of power, love, and sound mind today. Amen.
