EVENT OVERVIEW

Preparation for Senior Day began on Sunday, December 8, as boxes, totes, and essential items were thoughtfully gathered for our seniors. Generous support also came from the community, including a monetary contribution dedicated specifically to senior care.

In the days leading up to the event, volunteers worked together to transport supplies, set up the venue, and create a warm, festive environment. Tables were beautifully arranged with runners and poinsettias, setting the tone for a joyful celebration.

On the morning of December 12, fellowship began immediately as volunteers visited table to table, sharing conversations and distributing boxes, totes, and refreshments to all seniors in attendance.

A special highlight was a Christmas concert by Abel Rodriguez and her cousin, Cici Martinez, which uplifted the room and filled the space with joy. Guests also enjoyed a surprise chair giveaway, bringing laughter and excitement throughout the event.

The day continued with an encouraging message centered on faith, followed by a lovingly prepared meal. Seniors then participated in a lively game of Bingo, creating moments of fun, connection, and celebration.

To conclude the event, poinsettias were given to seniors as a lasting reminder of a meaningful and joyful gathering. Senior Day was truly a reflection of generosity, fellowship, faith, and community.
