Monday, October 13, 2025 — When God Opens a New Door (Courage to Begin)

Key Verse: Joshua 1:9

New beginnings can feel like standing on a diving board: exciting and scary. God’s word to Joshua—“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you”—is also God’s word to us. Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it’s movement with God in the midst of fear.

A 3-step faith start:

  1. Clarify the call. Write the “why” in one sentence. If you can’t say it simply, keep praying.

  2. Choose a next step. Not 20 steps—just one. Make the call. Order the sample. Block the hour.

  3. Create accountability. Tell a trusted friend and set a date to check in.

Remember: obedience today invites provision tomorrow. Doors often swing open only after we put our weight on the handle.

Prayer: Father, I step forward with You. Establish my steps and use this beginning for Your glory. Amen.
